Spotlight on Zero Trust Network Access

Zscaler's Lisa Lorenzin on Transformation's New Security Tool
Spotlight on Zero Trust Network Access

The promise of cloud and mobility is to provide access to key services quickly and from anywhere at any time from any device. Security teams must embrace technologies that enable this to ensure business productivity.

VPNs place users on the network, and the DMZ mistakenly exposes apps to the bad guys.

Zero trust network access technologies, also known as SDP, provide a secure alternative to legacy methods. For the first time, IT can decouple application access from network access and make private apps invisible to the internet.

In this interview, Lisa Lorenzin, Director of Emerging Technology Solutions at Zscaler, opens up about:

  • Key capabilities of ZTNA technologies
  • Common use cases that ZTNA helps to address
  • How to get started with ZTNA

Lisa Lorenzin is a Director of Emerging Technologies at Zscaler, specializing in secure access to private applications. She has worked in a variety of Internet-related roles since 1994, with over twenty years of focus on network and information security, and has contributed to open standards for endpoint integrity and network security from the Trusted Computing Group (TCG) and Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF). Lisa is currently concentrating on software-defined perimeter / zero-trust network solutions and seamless user experience across cloud and mobile environments.
