The Move to Data-Centric Security
Voltage Security on Protecting Data"This information is leaking out [of enterprises]," says Stieglitz, vice president of business development, in an interview with Information Security Media Group at Gartner Summit 2012.
That means security must shift to where the data is located. "We don't need to think about walls anymore," he says. "We think about protecting the data where it sits."
Stieglitz has 20 years of experience defining new platforms and accelerating strategic partnerships. As vice president of business development for Voltage Security, he drives the company's strategic partnerships with technology partners. Prior to Voltage, Stieglitz led product management, marketing and BD programs at Redwood Systems, Force10 Networks, Cisco, Entrust and RSA. Stieglitz is the author of 18 patents in network security, user authentication, and network automation and control.
