Mitigating Mobile Risks

As BYOD continues to become more commonplace, mobile application risk management aids in identifying the risks on those devices and implementing policy to protect enterprise data, says Domingo Guerra, president and founder of Appthority.

"Mobile app risk management means understanding what the apps are doing, highlighting what those risks are specific to each customer or end-user, and then being able to implement mobile policy over that," he explains in an interview with Information Security Media Group at Gartner Summit 2012.
