Throughout the course of the event, over 200 sessions will be held across 17 tracks, covering a wide range of critical themes and topics, including: cloud security, risk and compliance, legislation and ID management.

New tracks being offered for the 2012 conference include mobile security, navigating the association landscape and security trends.

This year's theme, "The Great Cipher Mightier Than the Sword," references the early mathematician Antoine Rossignol, who helped France's army in the 17th century by cracking an encrypted letter revealing that their adversaries, the Huguenots, were in desperate need of supplies and ammunition. This message can be applied to today's threat landscape, where intelligence and innovation can aid security professionals in thwarting cyber threats.
